This is a report of our trips to the dyno. We will include photos of the dyno'd cars, dyno sheets and a breakdown of what happened. The dyno we use is Precision Dyno in Belmont,NC. They have been dynoing our cars for a couple of years and are pretty cool guys. The owner is a V8 guru who built a 300 HP Ford Focus turbo.

At the Dyno: Blueslayer
This is the car at the dyno. This is one of the local dynos, and was brand new. The owner just opened shop so we drove on over. The dyno is a DynoJet 600.
What's all there
We came to the dyno excited after running the 7.8's at the track. We only hoped to put down a good run and get to tuning. Well half of that happened. The first run the car's MSD ignition was limiting revs to 7 grand. We fixed it and got the second run on.
Setup at dyno
-cam gears adjusted
-fuel pressure 55psi
-10-11 psi
-timing BTM 1 degree
Overview of the Bay
Check out the Fluidyne just installed.
The Verdict
260 HP
175 FT/LBS

This was the first baseline run that ran through the entire rpm band. There's definite room for improvement that we never utilized because of the electrical system fouling up. Regardless the numbers look good, and the curves look pretty consistant with exeption of a few dips. Here is a link to a better photo of the plot.

Back Soon
Keep checking back for more up to date dyno plots and times. We hit Mooresville this Thursday.
Mission: Work out the "Bugs"
Sorry that was cheesy but i couldn't resist.Back to the dyno soon, we got the 440's in the mail along with the AEM PNP, so needless to say, i smell more power.
